Young Triffie

Young_TriffieSet in pre-confederation Newfoundland, Young Triffie is a black comedy starring Fred Ewanuick, Mary Walsh, Remy Girard, Andrea Martin, Andy Jones, Colin Mochrie, and Cathy Jones. Rookie Ranger Alan Hepditch (Ewanuick) is sent to Swyer’s Harbour to investigate a sheep mutilation only to find himself leading a murder investigation when the body of “that poor young silly person” Tryphenia Maude Pottle is found. From the time the body washes ashore replete with 13 stab wounds, until the preacher’s hand is nailed to a table, the laughter never lets up in this comic murder mystery.
